Congratulations, for completing your year of study at�@the YMCA. Now, you can take home your folio of essays�@and poetry, your journals, and this book!  When you�@read your own work, and that of your classmates, do�@you feel accomplished and proud?  I hope so, because�@you accepted a double challenge--to become a writer,�@and to do so in a foreign language!

By reading your work, and in particular your journals,I have had the special chance to get to know every one of you.  Many of you have written about your hopes and dreams, your joy and pain.  You have looked to the future and created goals, or recorded memoirs of student days--especially shopping, work, and parties! Our thinking can change over time--so by writing now, we create an "omiyage" of ourselves!
As your teacher, I'm quite moved to witness your development as human beings and writers.  Every one of you has something special to say--so be confident, believe in yourself, and write it! I wish you happiness always.

To All ISEP B Students

I hope that you will continue your study of English and use it to enrich your lives.   Where will you go and what will you do next? I'm sure you can use your abundant energy to make positive changes for yourselves and others.  Discovering your dreams and making them become real would be a great way to make your life an adventure.  Be healthy and happy and contribute to making this world a better place.   It has been wonderful to meet you and teach you for a year.  Thank you very much and good luck!

I hope you enjoyed studying at the YMCA, as much as I did teaching you. Don�ft forget us, (teachers) keep in touch. Make sure you read / listen to an English piece everyday, otherwise your English ability will deteriorate.
